| The division winners are guaranteed a playoff spot, but not the top four seeds. This is fair, because division winners deserve at least something, but at the same time, it is unfair to give a division winner with a horrible record a home playoff game.

| What I had heard from someone is that the possibility is that division winners may not be guaranteed a playoff position at all, so I guess that this person was wrong.

| They would still get a playoff spot. HOWEVER I think they should make some kinda rule where if the division winner is below .500 another team can bump them out of the playoffs. Who wants a 7-9 or worst team in the playoffs?
