very true.  and thats why guys like peppers, williams, and that kid anderson from arkansas (really nice gift for mie smith when he gets to atlanta) are snatched up in the top ten. 

what scares me is when you reach for a tweener who you want to be a three down guy.  but that i mean that not all defensive ends over 270 are created equal.  jsut because a guy might have the size to play the run doesn't mean that he has the athletacism at that weight to be a dominant edge rusher, cough cough calsias cough cough.  or that a defensive tackle who is 290 or less is automaticly a great pass rusher or penetrator. 

I think that at weakside end when you have hogmolies in the middle that you can really afford to have pure quick twitch edge rushers.  look at freeney and mathis.  mathis played strongside end at 235 (to me the real cog in that dline) because they get pure space-eaters in the middle and fast linebackers to cover the edge. 

We will all have to make the choice between what is right, and what is easy.
