| | Hey, everyone. I asked similar questions with regards to the iPod Nano (love it!...thanks again for the help). I trust in your comments. How good is the PSP? Is it worth the price? Does anybody have a PSP, what games do you have, and which games are the best?

| My oldest boy has one. I can't ever get it away from him, or I'd give you an evaluation.

| What do you like to play? It's a nice multimedia package, but if you're not into puzzle games or RPGs, or don't want to play rehashed PS2 games, it may not be for you. Also keep in mind, the PSP runs up your bill pretty quickly; between memory cards, the media manager, a case, etc., you'll need to spend about $230 before any games.
There's a bundle SKU available that comes with a game (Daxter), a Family Guy collection of episodes, a 1 GB memory pro duo stick, and a silver PSP (2000 aka "slim" series), all for $200, which is great to get you started. If you let me know what types of games you prefer, I can recommend a few to get started with that other new buyers tend to enjoy (I'm an assistant manager at a Gamestop, so I've got a pretty good feel for it).

| I'm into RPG's, and puzzle games are good, too. I fit with what it asks. I played Pirates of the Carribean 2 on a friends', who highly recommended the PSP.

| i LOVE the PSP! i have had one since 1 month after they came out. the first one i bought died on the 30th day, and i had a 30 day warranty(lucky me..spilled milk on it) so i got a replacement and it is still going strong like 3 years later.
im into mainly Sports games(NBA Live, NCAA Football, Madden, MLB The Show) and it works out great. it is mobile so i can play while also watching games on TV. i can take it with me on trips or to work or anywhere. as far as the MP3 and video is concerned it is nice and all, but if used primarily for this purpose i find it too big and bulky. i have a separate MP3 player, so no need to use the PSP for this purpose. you get used to watching videos on there, but at first it takes some adjustments as the screen isnt that big. after your eyes adjust it really feels like watching HDTV.
i strongly reccommend a PSP to anyone who loves to play Sony games and is looking for some mobility. it is also compatible with the PS3 and can be used to Spawn games. the movie selection (umd) is no longer that great as it seems manufactures have scaled back new releases. but there is an abundance of UMD's available at EB Games/Games Stop/Rhinos or anywhere that sells used games and movies. also should be no problem finding movies or games from EBAY.
