Good pick up for them if they can shut down his off field issues. Would've loved to see Pac-man in a Jaguars uniform, young and talented.

I'm in Cincy this week!! Jaguars time!!

Record: 3-4

Next question is.. what method are they going to apply..

Firing Squad.. The Chair.. Gas Chamber.. Lethal Injection..

Texas might be the wrong place to try and be gangsta.

I don't doubt this is true. Obviously, our FO was having reservations about trading Pacman. Fisher uncharacteristically went to the media yesterday, and gave progressions on this "trade" a violent shove. I think it's pretty obvious that Fisher is done with Pacman, even if our FO wasn't.

Well tacks, you drafted this guy sixth overall, and got what for him? Two seasons of football and 200 hundred headaches. From "making it rain" to contributing to a man's paraplegia to wrestling contracts to Dallas. It also doesn't look like Vince Young is doing too hot either.

Say what you want about the Jags drafting, you guys eat it when it comes to recent first rounders

The Jaguars drafted Byron Leftwich with the seventh pick of the 2003 draft.  In my humble opinion, Young is doing a lot better than Leftwich at this point in time (if Young ever gets a big-play wide receiver who can catch the ball, he'll be a very good quarterback...better yet, if the receivers that the Titans currently employ catch the ball...)

Before last season (and it's still quite debatable heading into this season), how good was Reggie Williams?

Matt Jones?

I'm not saying the Titans fans are right or wrong in criticizing the Jags' drafting over the years, but they've got a pretty strong case.

It's not the Titans' fault that the guy went out and destroyed the early part of his career.

That remains to be seen, but likely not much after Fisher's comments.

I've actually been jealous of a few of the Jags' drafts, past the first round anyway. Jacksonville "The Home of the First Round Bust". Kind of has a nice ring to it.

Pacman is probably a once in a decade type football player, and a solid top ten pick. He just couldn't stay out of trouble OFF the field, and Goodell is STILL making an example out of him, which is pretty unfair.

Did the Titans fail in evaluating character??? Yes. Fisher was staunch in that he could handle Pacman's wild streak. Nevermind that the longest suspension ever served at the time was four games. In evaluating talent, however, our FO and coaches did very well.

Why is it unfair? This guy is a turd and that hurts the overall money making ability of the league. He is protecting the brand by making him an example.

Making an example out of someone is unfair.
