Campbell doesn't seem to fit the criteria of the front office.

I don't think he will be too productive on the next level for some reason.

A speed demon DE that might be a little undersized but plays with tenacity and a nonstop motor would be a better fit. The Jaguars need a guy with the moves and quickness to harass the QB. He wore #54 in college.....

If this scenario were to come about I believe the Jags would take Chris Williams - OLT - Vandy at Pick 26 in Rd 1.

I'm not sure about the LT pick but on the other hand, I never argue with drafting the big guys... Gotta love them buffet killers

Before I get blasted I know how our CB situation is but still... BAP? Talib is pretty friggin sick in my oppinion... Of course I'm a good old madden gm so what do I know?

I know this... Reaching for a DE because we need a DE is poor decision making in my oppinion. I love BAP through and through.

i personally prefer harvey, but we would have to move up to get him and i think the FO will do it

but as for chris williams, i dont think its a big need at the moment

and aquib talib is great but we got corners now, we need safety play

i like our options.  i wouldnt complain if we took Campbell.  But Id be happy if we grabbed Chris Williams or Branden Albert as well.

go big or go home.

My picks from the NFL.com "predict the pick" contest:
  1. Miami            Chris Long
  2. St. Louis        Glenn Dorsey
  3. Atlanta          Brian Brohm
  4. Oakland         Sedrick Ellis
  5. KC                Jake Long
  6. NY Jets          Branden Albert
  7. NE                 Kenny Phillips
  8. Baltimore        Andre Caldwell
  9. Cincy             Darren McFadden
  10. New Orleans    Sam Baker
  11. Buffalo           Vernon Gholston
  12. Denver           Rashard Mendenhall
  13. Carolina          Jamaal Charles
  14. Chicago          Jeff Otah
  15. Detroit            Derrick Harvey
  16. Arizona           Chilo Rachal
  17. Minnesota       Quentin Groves
  18. Houston          Brandon Flowers
  19. Philadelphia      Keith Rivers
  20. Tampa            Gosder Cherilus
  21. Washington     Kentwan Balmer
  22. Dallas             DeSean Jackson
  23. Pittsburg         Chris Williams
  24. Tennessee       D. Rodgers-Cromartie
  25. Seattle            Leodis McKelvin
  26. Jacksonville      Ryan Clady
  27. San Diego        Felix Jones
  28. Dallas              Phillip Merling
  29. SF                   Xavier Adibi
  30. Green Bay        Matt Ryan
  31. NY Giants        Devin Thomas

The one pick that bugs me is McFadden because I think someone will sweep him off the board before New England picks. Maroney is bad enough with that OL and McFadden could be even worse.

With your mock of USC DE Lawrence Jackson going to Denver at #12, it leaves some pretty good DL talent dropping for the Jags to consider.  Balmer, Campbell, and Merling to name a few.  I would hope the Jags would take the hernia recovery risk and go with Merling.
