My grandfather had melanoma. He refused to see a doctor for years, so by the time he did it had spread rather badly. If I remember correctly, if he went in earlier there wouldn't have been that much of a problem. Based on what you're saying, I think that will be the case with you (that it won't be much of a problem).

Either way, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Good luck! You will be in my thoughts and payers.

I had skin cancer a few years ago and although the spot was he size of a head of a pin the incision was big enough to require 5 stitches. The cancer was on my face and so now I have a lovely scar from the tip of my nose to the corner of my mouth.  Fortunately, mine was basal cell. It has made me much more vigilant about being in the sun without sunscreen. if you see me at the Jaguar games I am the one always trying to slap sunscreen on everyone.

Good luck 02. Stay positive, and let us know how things went as soon as you can.

Good luck.  Wow, you're up early for this.  They make you arrive 8 hours before the surgery?  That sucks.
