Maybe RJ can help you acquire an adequate supply of appetite stimulator for the chemo process.

...

The surgeon also told me that the chemo used should it come down to that is nowhere near as severe as the kind they use for cancer on internal organs. He said at worst I'd feel like I have a bad flu for a long period of time.

As for my family, I contacted them all immediately. It took me a while to reach my dad who happened to be in Abu Dhabi at the time, but they all know. I even have three aunts that are giving me a great deal of help. Two of them have had cancer themselves, and the third is a nurse.

This sounds very hopeful, I wish you all the best!

I visited with the surgeon yesterday for a consultation, and he said they're going to make a 7" long incision.

Just a little something to cheer you up 02:

There are a lot of people out there who would be happy with a 7 inch anything!

As an update, the operation date has been set for April 11th. I have to be there at 11 am, and it's supposed to take place at 2:30 pm (Pacific Time).

There's not much more to say that hasn't been said. If you're keeping close track to the details, the said the "depth of penetration" was 4.2 mm. The term "stage 2" refers to a depth of 2 to 4 mm, so it's a bit deep.
