I had my "angiogram" yesterday. Basically they stuck wire down my veins looking for a suspected clog on or near my heart. There was a camera scanning my body from overhead as they went in, and I think the wire itself may have been camera-tipped. They first went through my arm, but around my shoulder they couldn't make a sharp enough turn and had to start over going through my groin area (above the groin, but below the belly).

They never did find any clogs and ended up concluding that I have a perfectly healthy heart. Apparently all the funny readings from the EKGs and the stress test didn't mean anything. I'm still wondering why the readings were so abnormal, but I guess it's just because I'm such a big guy.

Next up I need to schedule a follow up with my regular doctor, and re-schedule the surgery to see if the melanoma spread. In the meantime I'm grateful for all the prayers. It appears they're working.

Yes, I'm very glad to hear that your heart is OK.

Been there done that. Didn't mention it before because mine showed damage to the heart. Good news for you. Hope things go well from here on.

So y'all know, the original surgery to see if the melenoma spread has been re-scheduled for this Wednesday. I hope there are no more complications, and that again the procedure will only reveal good news.
