| | That suprises you? Why would the Jags give any help to a divisonal rival dating back since they first came into the NFL |

| Good move by Jacksonville.
| Fred Taylor is the embodiment of what it means to be a Jaguar. #28 does every Jaguar fan proud. A class act on the field and off it. A first ballot Hall of Famer in my book. Run, Freddy, Run! | |

| Truthfully, I wouldn't want Pola here, and I know the only reason Fisher wanted to interview him is because he was a USC guy, but will likely go with more experience anyway. It's the point that the Jags wouldn't even allow him an interview...

| How does that work? Anyone have a link? I thought coaches were free to interview, at least in the offseason.

| KARL TORP (2/26/2008) How does that work? Anyone have a link? I thought coaches were free to interview, at least in the offseason.I think its more of a move to switch teams with the same position. The Titans wanted him as their RB coach, also. Which Jacksonville of course has him under contract for it, I'm not 100% sure though.

| | Yes, you aren't allowed to break your contract for a lateral move without the teams permission. Obviously they wouldn't give him permission. Huge non-story as far as I'm concerned, why on earth would Pola OR the Jaguars consider that a good thing (well maybe money for Pola) |

| | Speaking of this, I wonder if there is some kind of NFL maintained hierarchy that lists what coaching position is above another. I wonder if it is linked to specific terms in a coaches title, kind of like how there is almost always an "Assistant RB coach", "RB Coach", "Assistant Head Coach", etc. Anyone know?
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.

| there's also probably the little matter that half the coaching staff was gone too - the defensive side
DC, DL coach, Secondary coach, Asst. Secondary coach...
having the #2 rushing yards position in the league will do that - "Let's grab him and we'll be a great rushing team and weaken them"
Jags need something here. |
