The Regular Season is finally over. Let's get the offseason started.

I'm making the primer to help people have a better experience with the draft. From mock drafts to player rankings. Hopefully this proves to be useful.

If you have any other site that you simply adore, post them and I'll update the post

Introduction

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/FREE_CONTENT/draft_tools/tradechart.shtml - Trade value chart.

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/FREE_CONTENT/draft_tools/LTI%20Chart.shtml - Length to impact chart. (How long you should wait before expecting an impact from a player)

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/FREE_CONTENT/draft_tools/PKsp.shtml - The relationship between speed and quickness.

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/FREE_CONTENT/draft_tools/PKex.shtml - How to measure power and explosiveness.

http://www.gbnreport.com/drafttheories.htm - Draft theories.

Mock Drafts

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/special/mockdraft - Wow, my friend just showed me this website. Based a little bit like the hailRedskins site, listing mock drafts and the picks that each site has for the Jags. Great read too!

http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm - By far the most comprehensive collection of mock drafts in any one place. Great site because they say when each mock is updated.

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/FREE_CONTENT/top100mock.shtml - Great little chart that shows a bunch of high end mock websites' actual percentage of getting the top 100 prospects correct.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/ - My favorite mock site out there. Player reports, All-Star games coverage, good mocks, great overall site.

http://www.drafttek.com/teamneeds2008.html - I like this website. They take player rankings, weight team needs at each position and then assigns players based upon need/value. The site linked is the assigned values of need for each team, pretty accurate.

http://www.gbnreport.com/index.htm - Good overall site.

http://www.nflmockdraftaces.com/ - Mock draft

Player Rankings -

I took the most accurate websites listed by the Huddle Report.

http://www.nflmockdraftaces.com/Ranking_by_Position.html - Rankings

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=piTgX1nYpnFapFNUE5IizEA - Tornado's player spreadsheet!

http://www.gbnreport.com/2008prospects.html - A complete list of available prospects. Literally hundreds.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/rankings.html - Rankings, position by position, with a top 100 also.

http://www.drafttek.com/2008players.html - A ranking of players that merges a handful of reputable websites into one list.

http://www.gbnreport.com/top100.html - Top 132 prospects or so.

I know they're just mock drafts, but I HATE seeing so many of them projecting a WR for the Jags with their pick. If they take Early Doucet, or any other WR for that matter, I'm going to scream.

Don't Take Life Too Seriously

i said this in the other draft primer thread, but this should be stickied or else it risks falling off the front page.

You can add a draft value chart on there unless I missed it. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/features/valuechart.html
Looks good though.
