Seriously. Who are the Jaguars going to draft in '08'? One mock draft site said Andre Woodson. Im like huh? Most of them say Early Doucet at WR. I'd like to draft a DE myself. Some speed on the outside.

Its no secret the Jags need to improve at various different positions. Such as; WR, OL, DL, S, and CB. What do u think?

It's really ALL dependent on what moves we make this off season during FA. I say proven receiver in FA, DE in draft, and maybe some position changes and another CB or S along the way.

I'm hoping it's Phillip Merling from Clemson.

I think they trade it and get more value or try to get a proven DE or WR around the NFL thats been around long enough.

How about Michael Strahan? He's proven...and a Superbowl champ!

This team isn't going to find the type of pass rusher they need in a trade for a lone first rounder. DE is a premium position, probably the most important position after quarterback. They're better off going and drafting some youth at the position.

Well, our first priority in the "DARFT" should be some pass rush.  Furthermore, Michael Strahan should ride into the sunset.  He has accomplished everything that is to be done at this point in his career.

Agreed, but if the man wasnt to keep playing, I say keep playing. I was kidding about the Jaguars trying to trade for him. They'd have to pony up some serious stuff to trade for a top tier DE. Anyway, who would be out there to trade for?

Woodson would be a great pick if we can grab him in the third round or lower.

Doucet could be a good pick, but this team can't afford to fail at 1dt round wide receivers again.

If addressing the pass rush is as easy as drafting someone, we wouldn't have a pass rush issue. It's not that easy. You can't expect to get huge talent that will be reliable only from the draft. I expect them to bring in some players we're not even thinking of, or try to.

They are good at coaching up what many people think are average players so I expect them to sign a mid-range DE that will initially disappoint people but will likely be a good investment.

WR they have to sign someone big. The pressure from the fans and the coaches would have to be too great. EVERYONE knows that's the only offensive need.

I wanted a DE that's proven, it's hard getting lucky in the draft to find one. Houston looks insanely smart now that chose Mario Williams over the underachiever Reggie Bush. We need a pass rusher though. No doubt. I think we should try to get Jared Allen from KC if he's up for grabs. And im telling you. If Chad Johnson really wants out of cincy we can put that first round pick up for grabs or they might just cut him lose for nothing. We need those two players or types of players here atleast to compete with Indianapolis this season and the Texans and Titans wont be getting any worse in the next few years. Strahan is going to retire. He thought about it last year and came back and got lucky if you ask me. All in all, they have depth, Tuck could be a good one opposite of Umenoryai or however you spell it.

Its too bad with how McCray turned out this year. He had some promise the year before. Oh well. With Spicer aging, and Hayward having a problem staying on the field, we have to get a DE atleast on one side this year as soon as possible. If Terrel Suggs is available in the market he might even be a potential threat here. He's made the pro-bowl at both DE and OLB, so we know he's athletic enough to get off his blocks or to even drop back and cause confusion like they did with Adalius Thomas in BAL and NE over the past three years. He does offer that ability. My biggest worry, like Ketchman already pointed out, is our interior lineman. Meier is getting old, Stroud and Henderson cant stay healthy and they've regressed alittle bit. Landri shows promise though. Im not letting his size scare me away from his ability, the guy has a motor and a nose for the football, thats all you need to play inside. Chris Hovan still plays in the NFL and he's undersized for a DT. And it's not like Landri cant always put on some weight or be moved around and coached up at DE aswell.
