| | It's not really a surprise that he is done for the year. It may be a reality that he has played his last down as a Jaguar. I don't think he'll ever get back to anything close to 100%. The ankle he injured is one that has been a source of concern for nearly 3 years now. The microfracture surgery he had done this past off-season was a last resort to try to address the issues he's dealt with. It would not surprise me to see the Jaguars moving on without him after this season. McDaniel has progressed nicely and should continue to do so once he's done recovering from his knee injury. I don't know how much trade value Stroud might have, especially coming off a season that was shortened by injury and a suspension. It's a shame, but it wouldn't be a shocker to see him released this off-season.

| I love the Stroud and Henderson hype as much as anyone else, but how many games has Stroud missed in the last two years? It may be time to make a hard business decision. I don't notice a big drop off when he's out.

| ThanksJags (12/12/2007) I love the Stroud and Henderson hype as much as anyone else, but how many games has Stroud missed in the last two years? It may be time to make a hard business decision. I don't notice a big drop off when he's out. I don't either. He's got big name power and brings some leadership, but Rob Meier and him are about equal as far as production on the field.
