I figurd that was the outcome.  Hopefully he can come back next year but seeing that it is the same ankle he had the micro surgery I am very worried.

no real surprise... When Jack said it was good sprain, that was code for High ankle which means at least 4 weeks to heal which would end the season for big #99... Too bad after missing 4 games... it looks like those drugs didn't help too much which cost him 4 games...

I'll still wear his jersey against Raiders.....

Bummer!  I thought that might be the case when he wouldn't put any weight on his foot at all. The one I feel sorry for is Henderson not having Stroud there to take the double teaming off him.

"That was really the difference," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. "If we don't give up that play, it's probably a little bit different feeling right now."

"The Broncos were chewed up and spit out by the Jaguars for the fifth game in the nine the teams have played - including the most famous upset."  Woody Paige

The odd thing about this is if you were listening to the radio broadcast, Sexton said as they were running onto the field to start the drive that it "feels really good to see Stroud and Henderson going out on the field together again." He talked about how it had been awhile and finally they were both leading the defense out there. The next play, which was the first play of the half, Stroud goes down. Hopefully it will not end his career but he's had a lot of problems with that ankle.

This will hopefully give him time to get healed up and get right. This could be a blessing in disguise.

This is a bummer... I was hoping after the 4 games off Stroud would be rested and ready for the last four game push and the play-offs...

GOOD LUCK #99... you will be missed...

He's had nagging injuries the past 3 years.  He'll never be the same.  He's on the DL - they take a beating and struggle to overcome injuries --- especially when you have over 300 pounds of pressure on an injury.

JDR said it was unrelated and called it a freak accident. They said it was a 6 week injury but they couldn't hold his roster spot fr him going into the playoffs.

We have plenty of people to plug in as long as Henderson stays healthy. Meier, Landry, and Jackson will have to carry the load.

Just saw the Vikings released Conrad Bolston, rookie DT from Maryland. I don't know anything about the guy, but we may look at him.
