In all seriousness, I think Kimo had given up MMA sometime during his training.

I think the $$$ he has made made him soft, he knew it and saw no need to do this anymore.

I base this on large part to his reaction after the fight, to his opponent and the crowd.

It was like that he had lost was an afterthought, and that he was more intersted in the afterparty.

And your little scenario about those who watch it being scared is stupid. If that were the case then everyone who has never played football, or basketball, or boxed, or fought in MMA, or wrestled, etc., etc., could never watch the sport on TV because then they are all big sissies!

And in the first sentence you talk about the barbarism of MMA, then in the third you talk about getting into the octagon so they don't have to expose themselves to danger. Hmmm...

Maybe they just want to make a lot of money? Maybe they want to stay out of jail for not fighting?

Have you ever sat down to watch MMA? As soon as someone can not defend themselves it is over. It is not barbaric. Barbaric is would be an uncivilized sport, lacking rules. MMA is far from that.

And if you polled football players at every level, and they were 100% honest, a majority of them would say they were trying to inflict some type of pain or another. I actually feel guilty for some of the stupid crap I did and tried to do over my 15 years of playing.

The UFC has never had a nobody as their headliner. Period. You still can never validate the point you are trying to make.

as Alfie said the UFC has had free shows on with their main draws as the Main Event. Most recent was a free show which involved the best fighter in the world, about a month/month and a half ago. UFC has had more free shows with their big dogs than Elite ever will.
