Boca Raton is the most miserable place on earth. Unless you like whiny,cheap,ugly,rude people.

And the south fla chicks, while hot, are not the type of hot that you would wanna bring home to your parents. They are the type of hot that you see in an adult video store. Seriously.

Jax has so many more dateable and marrying-type girls.

Quality of people in Jax is so much better.

Jupiter,Fla is not so bad though. its thecounty line.

I lived in south Florida for a while....Martin (Jensen Beach) and Palm Beach (Wellington) areas. My brother still lives in north Miami...Miami Shores to be exact.

Only thing I couldn't stand was the traffic to and from work.

But I loved the culture and there was/is so many places and things to do when compared to Northeast Florida region.....never a dull moment.

Just don't run out of gas in West Palm Beach! Gas up in Ft Lauderdale if you are going there. When gas was CHEAP it was still a ridiculous price in WPB. Don't say I didn't warn you.

My parents lived in South Florida so we visited there alot as a kid. Mind you I grew up in Jacksonville, but the biggest diff. I rememeber is the heat. Going to Tampa/Miami in December is like going to Jacksonville in August. Its just ALWAYS hot there. that and everything seems to cost a little more.

Nonsense. I don't speak Spanish, visit Miami a lot because my in-laws live there, and have never had anyone fail to speak English to me. Also, the only time I was ever treated rudely in Miami was by a government bureaucrat at the passport office (who spoke English).

Listen, Miami is crap. IF you have money go to Palm Beach or St Lucie, why live in Miami?

If you're just a regular working person, Jacksonville is better than Fort Lauderdale/Miami etc. IMHO
