I remember being homesick on deployment and missing everyone here in Jacksonville. The mall, the movies, friends, family, the Jags games, barbecues, the beach, the clubs, everything. I also remember watching the Jags games to keep me motivated while I was in the desert. Gotta love David and Fred. i wish both guys just ran more! haha and MJD of course!
R. He's excited and ready to go. My family is proud of him and we know he will represent the Army and his fellow Troops from all branches well.

He's a bit upset he's not in Afghanistan right now as he is a huge MMA fan and several top fighters from both WEC and UFC are there this week to see the Troops.

He will be home next month for leave before he deploys. He's been in the Mojave and other deserts here in the US training for his time Over There and I'm not sure he'll know how to act in a house again! Indoor plumbing! Running water! A bed!

Anyway... as a former Soldier and the daughter, sister, ex-wife and granddaughter of Veterans.....
