I have to agree. I've been there since 2001 and that is, by far, the biggest problem. There were guys (probably 25 - 40) throwing the ball and it went right into the back of someone's car. They were an older couple who tailgate by themselves and have a TV in the back of their gas guzzling, global warming, SUV :P. Luckily, it didn't hit my SUV. The guys were jerks and really needed to have the crap stomped out of them. Luckily, a police officer parks near them and was able to calm the situation. No apologies, no nothing. Typical Gator fan. :D

I've got only a one beer walk. Hence the sake bombs just before the walk to the stadium.

i have parked at tailgaters on talleyrand since "95 awesome place to tailgate . if any of you remember trying to find parking for bulls and or fla-ga games and trying to find facilities . this place rocks . great staff very helpful for whatever problem you might have . real bathrooms especially for the ladies . love it we have 3 spots m-53,54,55 ya;ll stop on by

Same here...usually right under the bridge across the street from the JagMart Gas Station. $15 ain't bad and it's a fun walk to and fro.

I've always had a tailgators parking pass so I have no other point of reference for comparison. The thin I most like is knowing the people around me. I don't mind the walk. It's just long enough to drink 2 beers before going into the stadium. :)

I am also in lot Z. We are the group of trucks right at the exit across from the auditorium right next to the parking garage that most people use to head to the stadium. I will be going to the Gas Knob (Old Amsterdam) tomorrow it is owned by my very good friend Ralph Tiernan. The food is excellent (read review in Times Union yesterday) and Ralph is a huge Jag's fan. We have tailgated their for the last 4 years. We park under the bridge for free. You have to get there early though.

JagsMac, how much does it cost? I have looked at parking there for several seasons because it's a much shorter walk to the stadium. And can you put a storage box in your spot to keep chairs, grills, etc.?

I park in the lot on Tallyrand just north of tailgaters. Near that Jaguar gas station if anyone knows what I'm talking about. It's like $20 so it's cheaper than tailgaters and it's a quicker exit. It's also only one block further from the stadium than t-gaters but it's not a bad walk.

The first 2 years we parked at the Fairgrounds. We all had to meet up at somebody's home and convoy to the Fairgrounds making sure we were one behind the other so we parked next to each other. In those days we had 6 vehicles and if somebody cut into our "train" just as we were entering the Fairgrounds there was a stranger amongst us.

We moved to Tailgaters because of designated parking spots. We can all get there whenever we wish and we're always next to each other. Since we have designated spots, I have built a storage box which holds our chairs, bbq grills, tables, propane tanks, canopy tent, charcoal, grilling utensils, boxes of ponchos/spices/binoculars/paper towels/aluminum foil/styrofoam cups/etc.; all of the things you might possibly need that don't spoil. This storage box is awesome because we only need to pack food and beer each week, everything else is already there, each week, every week.

My season long pass is, I think (I'm not exactly sure because the wife pays the bills) $270 or $27 per game. I think the game day pass is $30.

Z. Every year you have to get there earlier to get a shady spot in the NW corner. Not worried about the preseason, we'll be going to the new restaurant that replaced Amsterdam, but I'm sure one of the 3 cars that go there with us will have to be in the lot 4 hours before kickoff.

First year I got a parking pass. Two cars parking in lot P. Should be a good time. We will be tailgating on Saturday...not a huge tailgater, but since I live in town it will be alot easier.

But you can buy one game passes to the place, but you save money obviously when you get the season package.

Yup thats where I park as well.

Awesome place, especially if you are parked near the bathrooms/bar, get to watch the pre-game shows on the TV's if you fancy that stuff, Plus awesome atmosphere.
