We need an OL that can hold up long enough for Garrard to throw the ball to the WR we have.

RE: Brandon Tate
Jags2DaDeath (10/9/2008)
Reggie Williams was a high school and college All American receiver. He used to beat guys deep all of the time. He was exactly what we needed too.
Wow. This isn't even an argument. It's just an irrelevant fact. Reggie and Brandon are two TOTALLY different kinds of receivers. Comparing the two as if they are one in the same is just dumb. Reggie Williams is a Big, Strong, mainly a YAC kind of receiver, even in college. Brandon is a small, quick receiver with speed to threaten deep and he can even return punts if you need him to.

RE: Brandon Tate

Reggie Williams was a high school and college All American receiver. That would be a pretty nice combo for years to come.

RE: Brandon Tate
Jeeves (10/9/2008)
^ has to stay on the field first.
What makes you think Brandon Tate won't break the second an NFL safety lays him out?

Walker only has an MCL sprain. He would compliment nicely with our bigger receivers like Matt Jones and Jerry Porter. I see a little Santonio Holmes in him and he would give our offense more explosiveness in our receiving corps.

He's probably going to be an early 2nd or 3rd rounder pick.
