There would be more hype around him, but he got kicked out last season due to poor grades. After that, he promised Ferentz he'd get his grades up and he wanted to come back, so he took the season off instead of transferring and went to a CC to fix his grades.

Ryan Mouton was a pretty good JUCO player before going to Hawai'i. He wasn't good last year and I haven't seen Hawai'i this year yet, but he is an intriguing guy I want to check out.

Well call me a FSU fan. NC State always plays them tough and like Big John pointed out, I am eagar to see some of their defensive talent. That D is usually a pleasure to watch. They can get after it.

When they're not playing UF, I root for FSU. I have a lot of friends (God bless em) that are FSU fans.

Just a player to watch out for, super sleeper type...a DE from Eastern Washington named Greg Peach. 6'3" 255. Currently leads the nation (all levels) in sacks. Didn't play well versus Colorado and TTech, but did once he got to playing some conference game. Racking up sacks.

good call on Michael Smith. hes a little guy at only 5-7, but he leads the SEC in all purpose yardage and just had 176 yards against Auburn

havent been able to watch nearly as much this year. but a few guys ive seen a little but havent seen mentioned yet...

two guys from BYU. Harvey Unga the RB and Dennis Pitta the TE. Dont know if Unga will ever be a feature back in the NFL, but he looks pretty quick for his size. roughly the same size as greg jones and i think is a little quicker. i hate to make the comparison because of ethnicity but reminds me of Fu. also Dennis Pitta is a guy i was impressed with when i watched byu. good size. runs well. looks to have good hands. BYU has some impressive players this year. unga is a soph. pitta a jr.

tyrone mckenzie olb at USF and gerald mcrath olb at southern miss. both good players you just never hear much about.

Which NFL QB would be a good comparison to Chase Daniel?

I'm thinking Drew Brees because he is roughly the same size, a competitor and just makes big plays. If we did not have Garrard, I'd love to see Daniel slingin' it for the Jags. Maybe we can get Maclin though.

Jacquizz Rodgers, Oregon State. Reminds me of Darren Sproles. Great career ahead of him.

Andre Smith has become the best linemen in the country.

Watch out for Herm Johnson. Just a massive human being. Dominant.

Ive been at LSU a few weeks now and have seen Charles Scott a few times. Yes he is big and powerful. However with the power of the left side of the line in particular (Herman Johnson & Ciron Black) I could probably carry for 100 yards a game. As you said though, Herm Johnson is a freaking beast.

I thought I put him in my list. But anyway, the kid is a stud. He's going to be the next in the long line of great Miami linebackers. He played a hell of a game against both instate rivals this year.

I forgot some of the other Mizzou guys too. Besides Weatherspoon, Will Moore is a really good looking safety and that TE looks good too (#45).
