That was my thoughts exactly he is old, but he's a good fit for a one year contact to give depth to our secondary & if nothing else for his knowledge. He could be the SS or a 4th CB on certain formations. I think it's worth it to sign him for a 1 yr deal. :cool:

I'd like to get Grady Jackson back and off that list up there I'd like to get Culpepper for some competition at the #2 QB spot. We know he isn't going to cause pressure to Garrard after the big contract, and Lemon was ok for Miami last year in spots, but I wouldn't feel as good with him if Garrard went down to do what Gray did last year for us going 2-1 in the 3 game road stretch.

Culpepper....I am just not confident in Lemon or Bouman. Veteran competition for the number 2 would be a nice thing.

were stacked at most of those positions...but if i was to choose from the list...the one with at least the slightest chance is culpepper...but i highly doubt it...garrard is the man:)
