My only contact to German soccer was circa 1977, PBS, "Soccer Made IN Germany". It was appointment TV for me. I played in those years and it was fun to watch professionals apply their craft.

The fans are great too.

I guess your hopes were dashed then. Find a hobby. What Vic does for Jaguars.com is unique among team sites, and it's precisely why Jaguars.com is widely considered one of the best sites in the league, or even among professional sports franchise websites.

Maybe you don't like Vic because reading is hard?

Try a book.

I like Vic sometimes and despise his opinions other times. But he is a good info source for our Jags so I try to read daily. He could be the biggest muppet more often than not and he does tend to give you more of a jocklike stance than you'd expect from a 150 year old man like him.

Vic brings more to Jaguar fans (and non-jaguar fans) through the website than the majority of beat writers for NFL teams. Don't read his column if your panties get bunched up because of sarcasm and/or golf.[/quote]

If he's not a 'fan of Vic', why is he reading it enough to form an opinion about him answering too many golf questions.

I find it a little diturbing that someone would actually post that they want to know what kind of music MJD likes.

Whoa, good luck getting rid of Vic. He has quite a following whether liked or not. I enjoy the Ask Vic column because of it's diversity. Diverse readers and opinions. It has the perfect balance of intellectual jaguar and football talk in general. But it also has a humor and bite to it to keep it interesting. Also it's not in your face homerism but straight forward. Even though I'm a Jag homer I don't like being force fed BS like Cowboy fan. I live in SA and this is Cowgirl country, I know what delusional homerific fan sounds like. I think your taking it way to seriously. Never the less I guess you really can't please everyone.

It's Ask Vic NOT Ask Jaguars, he can write about what he likes in his column. I'm sure it would be pretty boring for him if he had to only answer questions about the jaguars especially at this time of year when he's not even a fan. If you don't want to read it just ignore those questions or just read the articles from the front page.

The thing that I like about this website, and Vic's writing as well, is that you get a variety of topics, it's not just Jaguar Football. And there really isn't a whole lot of Jaguar Football going on right now.

Vic is like any other person on the planet, he has his opinions on things. Some you may agree with, some you may not. At least he's not answering question after question on Matt Jones and the Depth Chart. I can't [i]stand[/i] Depth Chart questions.

I know that many may disagree, but I get tired of having half of the JAGUAR ask Vic questions spent talking about golf. If I wanted to talk about golf, I would go to a golf website. I personally dislike golf and would like to read about the Jaguars, when I visit the website. I know I'm in the minority, but somebody has to agree with me. I guess it could be worse, he could spend a lot of time talking about soccer.

Oh and on a positive note, I can't wait to kill the Colts.
