Remember, because Jaguars are now ticketing through Ticketmaster, you have the option of putting your tickets up for sale on the Ticketmaster Exchange website. You'll have information as a season ticket holder about how this works when your season tickets are mailed out to you - it ensures that everyone goes to a single resource to find tickets, and you'll only pay a % fee when you sell your tickets.

Please also understand, that closer to gameday this year, your season tickets become more valuable. For example, in the 3rd level section season tickets (Section 408 for example) are $390 per season - ie, $39 per game. On gameday they're sold at [b]$55[/b] per seat - so they WILL be worth more money (and you can laugh all the way to the bank !)

We're still the 5th lowest ticket price in the NFL, and we just got voted #9 sports franchise (3rd NFL) in the US given the fact we have "cheap" seats, "cheap" lids and "cheap" concessions !

As for the initial post - my answer is "do you want the jags to put prices UP when we're LOSING ?" I think the formula is right. Lots of fans have really had a good deal for a long time. We don't have contracts (except club) and we don't have PSL. We do have one of the best teams in the NFL, and a darn good chance of home playoff games this year !

yea I kind of wish our salaries were comparable to theirs along with bonuses and perks. They keep raising the prices eventually it will be the players buying the seats since the average fan will be hoping the players decided to buy out the stadiums so they can be on TV ha ha.[/quote]

I seriously hope this is sarcasm becuase the Jags tickets prices are nothing. 400 bucks gets you into 10 games. I make next to nothing and I can cough up 400 bucks to buy tickets and still a little left over for food and drinks.

This is the NFL. It's expensive. If you can't afford to get season tickets then try and go to a few games. Stop complaining. Get another job. Stop going out to eat every night. Stop having babies. Go rent somewhere on the Northside. Stop working at McDonalds and get a real job. Live with your parents. Ride your bike to work. Take the bus. Get a room mate. But for God Sakes stop complaining. There is always a solution. If you can't save up $440 in a year to go to Jaguars games, then you probably should be living with your parents and going to college so you can get a real job. They even offer 5 month payment plans. That's like $88 a month. That's going out twice a week. It's much easier to whine then to find a solution. The people that whine are the ones that usually blame others for where they are in life. Get over it.

I got my invoice yesterday and my tiks went up 3 bucks a seat. My tiks are now just about double what they were two years ago and my parking in Z went up 20 bucks. I'm gonna give up the parking and split with another couple. As far as the price, it's a bargain when you consider the perks of having season tickets. We use the $5.00 on the back of the tickets at Winn Dixie and get Jags bucks at Gate so by the time the season is over we probably got 25% of our purchase back.

80 dollars? I make less then 8000 dollars a year I can afford that. Quit whining and grow a set of stones.

Oh PIPE DOWN and stop whining... show me proof where all other franchises do not charge for pre-season tix.. they all do it and this is a business, not a charity. If you found one that doesn't, take a look at their regular prices b/c those are hiked up to compensate for it. All teams get their money for those games regardless!

There was no hike in ticket prices for a long time after the Jags came into existence. I bet you didn't complain about THAT now did you? The bottom line is that we're still in the bottom 5 teams in avg ticket prices so stop complaining.

And stop complaining about wayne weaver. He and his wife are good people and do a hell of a lot for this community. He is running a business but has stated that he's happy if he only make $1 on the jaguars. He has plenty of other profitable ventures. We are **** lucky he is the owner or we would have been the LA Jags by now!!

Charging full price for pre-season games is a rip-off and all NFL teams do it.... However, if you compare the ticket price of a single game ( if you can get it) to the cost of a season ticket including the pre-season, the pre-season games are basically free....

Been a fan since about a split second after they announced the team.. ;)

Been to a number of games, but couldnt afford season tickets.. given that I live in Richmond, VA that is also a reason..

But this year... I may sell most my tickets on StubHub or something, but I will be at the home games for the Steelers, Titans and Colts. As I will be a season ticket holder this year.

The average ticket price for Jaguar season tickets is SUBSTANTIALLY lower than all but one franchise. The Jaguars have one of the most affordable game day prices of any team in the National Football League.

Absolutely !!!! To expand on that, I once went into the Dolphins website to see about tix for a game (since I would be in Miami for one weekend) and their worst seats were about $60. Wow, what a great idea ... pay $60 to sit in the upper deck corner and watch Cleo Lemon throw a pass to Ted Ginn ---- no thanks !!

The Jaguars are struggling to stay in line with the mandated revenue requirements in order to qualify for revenue sharing. Aside from raising ticket prices in order to stay inside the 90% targets, what would you suggest that the team does to cover the gap that they currently face with other big market franchises in order to qualify for revenue sharing?

With revenue opportunities going through the roof for large market franchises, it makes it more and more difficult for a team like the Jaguars in a small market who are strapped with a heavier burden to keep up.

You can complain about the minor rise in ticket prices. You'll get another rate increase next year in an effort to offseat the shortfalls. The reality is that it costs money to put a team on the field, and it cost MORE money to make that team competitive with bigger market franchises with significantly deeper pockets.

For every dollar below the average that the Jaguar season tickets fall compared to the rest of the league, that's another dollar that they can't spend to pay out bigger bonuses that will appeal the types of players and retain those that are worthy of hanging on to because we simply don't have the money available to do so. That's why the Jaguars have NO choice but to raise ticket prices.

The league has put a measure in place to make it an absolute requirement that teams like the Jags must hit a threshold of 90% of the average league revenue in order to qualify for the paltry bit of revenue sharing at a full rate. That percentage slips for every tick below 90% that they are. With new stadiums coming on line in Dallas and New York over the next few years, the team is either going to have to really raise ticket prices, or the league will have to step in and re-think their revenue sharing.

That's the business reality of the NFL in 2008. You may not like it, but the bottom line is that if they don't do their darndest to keep up with revenues, you'll be rooting for the Los Angeles Jaguars.

In '98, '99, and 2000, they used to tell us when we called they were sold out. Then I would see empty seats on TV. In '01 I called for tickets and again I was told they were sold out, I said I am recording this game and I see empty seats like I have in the past I will go to the SA's office then to the NFL themselves. We got stuck in the direct sun light at a 1 PM game, then I found this site and never dealt with the ticket office by phone again. While I don't understand how these ladies kept their jobs I can say since going on line that we have great seats now.

Or timing (I heard a lot of people were replaced at the beginning of this season) we got our "regular" seats in 2003 on line.
