1. Florida Marlins (MLB)
2. Tampa Bay Rays (MLB)
3. Buffalo Bills (NFL)
4. Minnesota Vikings (NFL)
5. San Francisco 49ers (NFL)
6. New York Islanders (NHL)
7. Phoenix Coyotes (NHL)
8. Nashville Predators (NHL)
9. New Orleans Hornets (NBA)
10 Charlotte Bobcats (NBA)
It's great to see the Jags not get mentioned for a change. I don't want to see any team move, but I would certainly trust the research and analytical capability of the writers at Forbes over the Michael Silvers of the world and those of his ilk who parrot rumors they started themselves rather than do any research.

| This isn't really news to us, but should help confirm to trolls what we've been telling them all along.

| Weaver is committed to Jacksonville. That's one of the key differences between the Jaguars and other teams. Weaver admitted he may sell the team one day, but he also said he plans to do everything possible when that happens to ensure the new owner will keep the team in the city.

| | I was just thinking today how neat it would be if the Rays and the Marlins could schedule one series each here in J-Ville at the Baseball Grounds. I figure that if it was sold right, that they could sell out 8 games at the 30,000 seat capacity and we citizens of River City could get a taste of major league baseball. Of course, as a Braves fan, I would love to see the Marlins vs the Braves, but it would not bother me one bit to see the Rays play the Royals, or the Rangers. Personally I think that such an idea could sell in a number of cities throughout Florida, from Orlando, to Ft. Myers, to Daytona. If those home games were moved around Florida to each of these cities, it would amount to 20% of each team's home games, but it would also build a fanbase in Florida. Imagine, having two weeks in the middle of Summer, where one week is Marlins Week in Jacksonville and another week is Rays Week in J-Ville. I know I would go see at least one of those 8 games, and I might see one game in each series. It would be good for J-Ville and good for the two MLB teams. |

It would be good for J-Ville and good for the two MLB teams.
It would be nice to just get a Spring Training or Exhibition game.
I think the Rays actually have a shot at staying in Tampa, as long as they build on the success of this year, wherever it leads. If they manage to win the World Series, they should do everything in their power to keep the momentum and new fans, and not follow the Marlins error in blowing up the team like they did after their championships. The Marlins screwed themselves by doing that.
Getting that new stadium approved and getting out of the Trop will help also.
