to be honest its too early to say he is emerging. he hasnt done alot for the team at this point. not saying he cant or wont but only time will tell. it depends on how garrard finds him on the field

i think after this week, del rio will change the depth chart up a little bit. let's face it mike walker had 100 plus yards in his 3rd nfl game. none of our receivers have ever accomplished this feat. matt and reggie have 100 yard games like once a season. but with matt now as our number one guy, he's all of a sudden exploding. so with walker starting opposite and the o-line helping garrard to throw down the field, this team could be frightning

It was a great idea to rest him up. After the bye it should be Jones, Walker, and Porter in the Slot. Williams need to move all the way down until he heals up or finds some motivation to get separation. I really do think if his knee holds he will be the next star WR here. I can only hope we get lightning and thunder back! I still miss the Keenan and Jimmy days, hopefully we will see some flaashes in 2 weeks.

in no way of mind i was stating you were wrong though. i really think he has the potential but garrard has to look his way more then i believe give the guy will have a chance to catch the ball more. i really hope you are correct here because that could change alot of things down the road. and the jags coming up on a bye and a weak schedule following he should be able to get some plays in. but in the nfl this year this is no weak game. upsets have been occurring weekly.

Agreed completely.  I say take advantage of what all of them have to offer.

Check this out: when we run the ball, most of the times R.Williams motions just besides the TE and helps to block. Right now that's his biggest asset. So in my opinion he should play in certain drives where coaches are going to call many run plays. I hope Walker becomes the starter because he's simply a much better receiver and I hope Troy Williamson is given more chances to show his speed, next time without holding penalties.

He was injured. He injured his knee at the Steelers' game last week, and hasn't practiced all week. He will most likely recover this week.

What could be better than Steady Freddy, and Rashean the Machine on the SAME team..?
