It made up for our previous drive where PI should have been called on the third down before the punt.  Williams was nailed before the pass was thrown and Northcutt was interferred with.

Interference should not have been called on the player named, but face guarding should have been called on the other guy, he made no attempt at the ball and just threw his hands into the receiver's face.

The penalty gods try to ensure things even out. There was a holding call on the Broncos last TD drive that was so blatant and wasn't called. They always happen. Good teams overcome.

he didn't really touch the receiver's face at all, he just had his hand there.

it's a defensive technique.

and yeah it was a terrible call. we got lucky there. I think Vic is right, actually. We've had a lot of calls go our way this season, big calls. We're fortunate.

.. on vince young
David: he will find a way to throw this game away
David: even tho they already lost
Naddy: i need chargers to get a pick 6 to help out my playoff challenge
David: me too
David: that'd be nice

We've had a lot of calls go against us too. I'd like to win without any calls going our way that shouldn't, but I'll take the win either way, and won't complain about it any more than I would if the calls went the other way.

Yeah, and in the beginning of the 4th quarter when Garrard threw the ball away to bring on 4th down and we get an illegal contact downfield for an automatic 1st down was a gift. Reggie ran into the defender but I'll take it. You know we have enough go against us, especially against the Colts, so it evens out.

It's just a shame we have bad calls at all.

Bah...the Broncos literally had a chance to win the game given to them in Week 2, which they gladly utilized. Really, bad calls are part of the game.

Denver has gotten the bulk of some crappy calls this year at Invesco Field (see the San Diego game)...it is about time that the opposing team got a couple of calls their way!!! Lucky us!

It also partially made up for the 10 or so flagrant holding fouls that weren't called.
