Here's mine:

Broncos 27 - Jags 20  (Tied at 20 in late 4th qtr and defense let's them go right down the field for the go ahead score)

It worked when I picked against them for the Colts game....

Garrard 15-23  215 yards  1 TD (won't throw much as run game is featured)

Taylor  83 yards rushing

Jones-Drew  45 yards rushing, 1 TD...40 yards rec

Porter  3 rec 48 yards, 1 TD

M. Jones   5 rec  63 yards

Scobee   2 for 2, 53 yarder

Jay Cutler- 25/33  254 yds.   3 TD

M. Pittman-  18 carries  120 yds. 1 TD

B. Marshall-  9 Rec.  112 yds. 2 TD

E. Royal -  6 rec.  97 yds.  1 TD

see...I'm all into the Broncos mental mind. If I predict their best players will tear up the Jags, it won't really happen. It's like psychology, but in reverse!

This game won't be a game of where the defense plays a big role.

I think our offense will be explosive but our defense is going to let us down again unless we pull off something miraculous and actually RUN THE BALL.

42-38 Broncos.

This is the game that will showcase Justin Durant's abilities.

He's going to intercept Cutler (who I think is a far superior QB to Garrard) and take it to the house.

Jags 24

I hate to go that way, but I think Reggie Nelson could make a difference in it.. We need him back after the bye.

C'mon Jags. Surprise me. This is pretty close to a must win. As a matter of fact.. I'll call it a must win.

Unfortunately, I think that's pretty accurate.  We can't win a shootout with the Broncos even if we manage to keep up for a short while.

We get down early, abandon the run, then force throws for INTs (probably see a pick 6.)  It could get out of hand early unless the defense steps it up this weekend.  They should be out for blood after a few subpar outings.  I'd like to see them come out and set the tone, get the Broncos off their game and keep them from getting offensive rhythm.  They didn't play bad in Q3 of the last game, so hopefully they can build on that.  A tall task, but the only way I see us winning.

"I have to do a better job of throwing the ball downfield more when I have chances and not second-guess it. We just haven’t had the explosive plays like we had last year,” Garrard said. -10/10/08

The only defense against madness is the accord of your peers.  That is, if you can convince no one that your beliefs are well-founded, then it's probably you who are crazy, and not the herd. - Alexandre Kojeve

I just can't see us outscoring their offense.
