| xSPINx15 (10/7/2008) I wonder if missing two starters and your starting nickle back being on IR has anything to do with it?
Nope.
Maybe we should bring in Moses to solve our pass rush.

| and to the person that makes the comparison how the Tacks are 7th in Pass D, and we are 26th, you're missing the fact that Reggie has only played in 2 full games this season out out of the first 5

| Steelo (10/7/2008)
Stephenson (10/7/2008) Guys were all missing something here.
Titans are 7th in Passing Defense
Jaguars are 26th in Passing Defense
Titans have allowed 860 yards through the air.
Jaguars have allowed 1,186 yards through the air.
Titans have allowed 1 touchdown pass.
Jaguars have allowed 9 touchdown pass.
Titans have been thrown on a 170 times with teams only completing a 100 passes.
Jaguars have been thrown on 159 times with teams only completing a 104 passes.
Titans win. Our secondary has improved tremendously from what it was last year.Your missing something here QBs Jaguars played against: Kerry Collins, Trent Edwards, Peyton Manning, Matt Schaub, Ben Roethlisberger Qbs Titans played against: David Garrard(having sub-par season so far), Carson Palmer(has been mediocre since 07, Matt Schaub, Gus Frerotte(LOL), Joe Flacco(rookie) I wonder who played worse QBs? The Titans can not choose their opponents/schedule. They are playing well, and defeating their opponents in convincing fashion so far. Their one weakness though, which is the same as the Jags (lack of big play passing game) has yet to be exploited. No disrespect to the Titan fans here, but it seems to me that of you stop the Titans run game, their offense is in trouble.

| one thing you might want to check. They may not have an explosive pass game like us but their OL has given up one sack and they have played two of the best defenses in the last two weeks. And neither one touched a very tree like Collins. To me that shows their real strength. If you cant get to him he will get the ball even to their weak WR's. Their OL is good and so is their DL. They win because they can sustain the LOS. That is something out FO forgot.
| Why the name TitanJag? I am a Jag fan who has a sister married to a now former Titan player. Thank god he left in Free Agency. | |

| Steelers also forgot about their lineman. Also Griffin has been playing with a dislocated shoulder the past few games, that's why he's been afraid to make some tackles.

Our passing game sucks, but we did just beat the NFL's best defense on our passing game, as they did shut down the run. While it's mediocre at best, it's at least become somewhat dependable in Young's absence.

Tin Cup (10/7/2008) I would personally take Griffin over Nelson because I like my FS to be able to lay the wood and that is something Griffin clearly excells in over Nelson. .That is patently false. Nelson is by far the better hitter. Again, Griffin spends more time getting run over. I only remember Griff getting ran over once so your argument is stupid. BTW Reggie may be better in coverage eventually (def not now) But Griff will always be the better tackler. People get ran over it happens you cant name me one LB or saftey or corner that doesnt. So because you only remember him getting run over once my argument is stupid? What a compelling reply. I guess Nelson earned the nickname "the eraser" because his skills were lacking. I guess the general concensus of Nelson being a better tackler is also lacking. Please let me know when you actually have a counter argument that contains something beyond "because I saw it you're stupid". I think I just heard the recess bell. It is nap time. Move along. And clarify where I said no one gets run over. I specifically stated Griffin spends "more time" on his back. Read. Comprehend. Read again. Process. Then read one more time. You'll find your responses are a bit more accurate. So because Reggies nickname is the eraser hes the a great tackler? That nickname actually came from him being worn down as the season went on. And we Call Chris Henry the worlds Strongest and Fastest Blind man... that doesnt make him a football player. Read My last post and then take your own advise about...Read. Comprehend. Read Again. Process.
