| | I'd invite JDR into my office, and ask him who he wants to replace GW. |

| That makes perfect sense as it must be the coordinators fault that Hayward, Spicer and Henderson all got old.

| Steelecrow (10/7/2008) I'd invite JDR into my office, and ask him who he wants to replace GW.And his answer would be McCain or Obama.

| Jags_Baby (10/7/2008) didn't spicer and henderson have a sack on sunday? you guys complain way too much. You know the old saying, even a blind squirrel will find a nut every now and then. Consistent pressure is the answer, sacks are overrated. The defense is not getting pressure especially at crunch time. They have been given the task five weeks in a row to protect a lead. They are unfortunately a perfect zero and five. If you consistently get whipped up front then you are not strong enough, not good enough or too old. So which is it? They are plenty strong and they used to be pretty good. That leaves us with too old. I'm not complaining, just pointing out that scheme can't overcome the inability of the big guys getting beat in the trenches.

Spicer had a sack and 6 or 7 tackles...that qualifies him as old? The defense as a whole is just a mess..you can't blame that on our "older" players...its everyone...
