Vikings DE Jared Allen has been cleared from the NFL's substance abuse program.
Allen hasn't had a violation in two years. "I don't have to tell them where I travel to anymore," he said. "I'm back to being a normal citizen in the NFL." After a slow start, Allen has sacks in back-to-back games.

Was I supposed to keep it up forever?
It's been up there for 6 months.
Everyone should know by now who my choices were in the draft, and just in case, I saved it as well.

| | Mad Dog, thanks for providing the Jared Allen update. As you remembered, this was the type of info I couldn't find online in the spring after you mentioned the possibility of Jared Allen getting a clean slate. Well behind football, I hope that Jared Allen remains on his current path. For the rest of his live, he's going to have to resist the temptation of having any alcohol.
