I'm going on record and putting a nickel on this one tonight!

The Jets may have struggled against the Pats, but this is a team that edged the Dolphins, who turned around and embarrassed the Pats. (Sounds like the AFC south huh?)

Brett Favre relishes Monday Night. The Jets play better on the road. Tomlinson is not a real factor yet. THe Jets Defense is a healthy young bunch of ballers. This was my favorite upset going into the weekend. Gates/ Sproles will be shut down.

If you go to the Broncos message board, you will discover many Denver fans fear it is impossible to catch up with Sproles if you are a half-step behind. One thread is a long argument over whether Champ Bailey "gave up" on stopping Sproles on a play. Some fans say he knew he was too slow to catch Sproles; others accuse Champ of not trying hard enough when he had a chance. When you see something like that it is impossible to imagine anybody can stop Sproles because Champ could not and he is one of the best cornerbacks right now.

I also worry about the fact that San Diego scored 38 points in Denver and was not totally deserving of its loss there. How can the Jets do better than the Broncos?

Who's going to throw the most picks seems to be the mantra of this game.

The only thing between me and winning my football pool this week is the jets winning, or keeping the total score below 47.

Thanks, jets! and farvre...and justbecawze.
