We spent a lot of time criticizing the in-game analysts already. Now it's time to say which group of studio analysts deserves the most attention. Feel free to rank them if you like more than one or just name individuals, but the point is to figure out who has the best pregame, halftime, and postgage shows. I personally like Chris Berman and was sad when the new NBC contract forced him and Tom Jackson to stop their "NFL Primetime" show.

I feel very sorry for Tom Jackson. He is a good guy and a good TV personality. Unfortunately, He is paired up with one of the premier boneheads to ever grace sports with their presence.

In a related note, I'm so glad that Lageman is so happy to be here, and doesn't want to move up in his broadcasting career somewhere else. IMO, he is by far the greatest analyist I listen to. Jaworski is also very good.

Hearing those guys sort of offsets the daily drivel that I get from the "analyists" here on this board.
