| Looked a lot like Byron's pass to Wilford in the Buffalo opener back in '04.

| The winning TD pass reminded me of Jake Delhomme's eventual game winning TD pass to Ricky Proehl, against the Lions in 2005. That play came with around 30 seconds remaining in the game. Delhomme also had a number of clutch wins in Carolina's Super Bowl appearance season- 2003. Major props to the Panthers for beating a very talented team on the road w/o Steve Smith.

| JagsFanJon2 (9/7/2008) Looked a lot like Byron's pass to Wilford in the Buffalo opener back in '04. Absolutely. I was very impressed with the way Jake Delhomme bought time and threw the ball in the exact spot it needed to be.

| That was an incredible play. Was it lucky? Probably, but still it was incredible. Its even more amazing that the Panthers won without Steve Smith. I didn't get to see the game, how did Merriman do with his knee? It seems that all of the AFC Super Bowl favorites either lost or had significant injuries.
