| I looked at the Bucs website, and NFL.com, but no mention of the guys status.
Any information would be appreciated.
This via sportsline.com:
Tampa Bay linebacker Antoine Cash dived and collided with a teammate making a tackle during the fourth quarter of the Buccaneers' preseason game against Jacksonville and was carted off the field. There was no immediate announcement on the nature of the injury. Cash was strapped to the cart with his helmet still on. Players from both teams left the sideline and stood around medical personnel as they placed the third-year pro on the cart. Cash was injured when he lunged and appeared to hit teammate Marcus Hamilton in the upper leg or hip as the cornerback was making a tackle on Jaguars receiver Troy Williamson. Hamilton was also shaken up, but limped off the field with assistance from one of the Buccaneers. (Updated 08/23/2008)

| | He was released from the hospital after being observed overnight. His injury is said not to be serious. It looked like a neck burner when it happened, he never went limp and continued moving until he was immobilzed.I wish him the best |

Words like "strapped to the cart with his helmet still on" paint a pretty grim picture.

Cash was injured when he collided with cornerback Marcus Hamilton, who suffered a right hip injury, in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game. Cash's injury is not considered serious, according to a team spokesperson. No information was available on Hamilton's injury.
