| | Any man that says his family is under stress when he gets an offer to stay retired for 20 mill is an asshat. 20 million dollars. To do nothing. Couldn't the world find something better to do with 20 million dollars?
" The Jaguars will tank: Jacksonville has mishandled the quarterback position and both candidates — Byron Leftwich, designated the starter, and David Garrard — are shaky. Daunte Culpepper may be a possibility, but he also ranks as an unknown commodity these days.
That uncertainty, the slow development of receivers and the difficulty finding big plays more than offset a nice backfield combination of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew and a high-ranking defense.
This will be Coach Jack Del Rio's last season in Jacksonville "

If it makes you feel any better, I'll take the 20 mil to stay at home.
Also I doubt the 'world' will find aything better to do with 20 mil.

| | A lot of people hate Favre now. It's a shame. I wish none of this ever happened. Whether he or Packers fans like it or not he is hurting his legacy. |

| Ruining his legacy? His legacy is now that at the end of his career he held the team hostage year after year. If the Packers had moved on 2 or 3 years ago wih Rogers they may have had a better year last year...Favre has tailed off over the last few years and I think last year was an anomaly (sp?)

| I do not hate Favre. I am a bit nonplussed, but that's all. He had a great 2007, but had already been informed before the season ended that the Packers no longer needed him. He retired (maybe out of frustration), but now wants to play. Based on 2007, it seems he can still play. I just check now and then to see how the Favre/Packer soap opera is playing out.
By the way, can you believe they offered him $20 million to not play? |

| | Does anybody else recall that commercial he shot a few years ago, in which he could not spell "prima donna"? I spell it "F-A-V-R-E."

"Raisin' Eyebrows with the Jagwires Kid" I am offically a Mike Walker fan. I received my bandwagon tickets after the Houston game. Sorry to everyone I debated with about Walker. He is the real deal.
