google Credit Card Transfer
http://www.creditcards.com/balance-transfer.php

transfer your balance to another card.

When late, keep the card open, transfer the balance, then never use that card again 3 to 6 months later close it. The Credit card company will see 6 months of good history and will not put any marks against you.

Always play the transfer game,
Get the best rate on transferring your debt. See how long you have to keep the card open.
When the transfer period special rate is up, transfer the balance to a new card. Do not use the old card, Store it away then 6 months or when the termination period is up close it out.
Some termination periods can be 2 years.

It pays to move your debt around, be smart pay your bills on time.
Never let it go past 90 days!
