| If you all watched this guy last year you know how great some of the catches he made were. Unfortunately he got hurt last year right when he was coming on strong. Don't kid yourself this is one of the most underrated players on this team, even by the true fans. Maybe it's just me, but i really think this guy can turn out to be something special for us. We will see, but I feel like there were sparks of greatness last year and hopefully he can really turn it on this year.
Root for Greg!

| 3 very good Tight ends on this team. Good blockers too which to me, on this team, is more important than anything else.

| | He's our Darkhorse this year, and a big reason why I don't care if wrighster continues to stay hurt. He compliments Lewis pretty well. |

Nice to hear from you Mrs. Estandia.
We'll be sure to take good care of your son.

| | I agree. IMO, Greg Estandia is just as good as Marcedes. They are both similar players too.

I'm as big of an Estandia homer as there is, but he is not as complete as Lewis.
Estandia is going to have to become more consistent and start blocking at least twice as good as he does now before he can be compared to M. Lewis.
He is, however, a perfect compliment with a lot of potential. |

| You saw last year the kind of potential Estandia has.
He made several nice catches in the deep seam. And had a few more that would have been nice gainers, but they were dropped.
The dude just has the knack for getting open deeper downfield than we are used to seeing from our TE group.
If the rehabbed shoulder continues to be a non-issue, then I too, am confident in Estandia's ability & he could be a fine TE2.
In the offseason, my biggest concern regarding him was the shoulder. As we saw from Boselli in the past, shoulder injuries may seem inocuous for football players, but indeed can end careers. Estandia's injury along with Wrighster's ACL is why I was so intent on the Jags trying to add talent at the position.
Theres still a long camp/ exhibition season to go, so lets hope Estandia can remain problem free from the shoulder & maybe, just maybe we'll be OK at TE2.
Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!
