Robb (7/15/2008) lol, too funny. Hope TMD gets it (since he doesn't "get" it)... no pun intended... or maybe there wasIt was dumb on oface's part anyway....Harris has nothing to do with signing the players. I shouldn't be surprised though, after oface's giant gaffe earlier this week regarding player signings. As for Harris, apparenly I am one of the few who actually do get it. (Success in) the draft is about getting good value for your picks. Shack Harris has done that pretty much in ONE round, consistently, the 2nd round. Sorry, but if you're going to have hopes of a super bowl title, you need to do better than that. What's dumber? That? Or when you came here thinking you were funny with that crap about Harris messing up and drafting the wrong T. Williams? He was making fun of your stupidity. You gotta take it if you're gonna dish it. and I was making fun of his stupidity, whenhe suggested that thomas Williams must have earned a final roster spot since they signed him. I saw Shack at Best Buy a few weeks ago. They were loading a brand new flat screen into his Escalade. I wish I was that stupid!!
So what does that prove?
Ryan Leaf is probably rich, too. Does that make hm a good NFL QB?
James Harris, like Matt Millen are the posterboys for proof that just because you are a former NFL player, doesn't equate to you being all that good of a GM.
I have the NFLN on, they are showing a program with the top 10 drafts of all time....you know that no Jags draft class will ever have the chance to make that kinda list until we change GM.
The key to many of the great SB teams is one standout draft class that preceded it, that produces HOF type players, not just a few "solid" starters, like the normal Harris draft.

How many Patriots draft classes were on there? Now why did you have to run TMD off like that? Don't you know he doesn't like his little examples exposed as the foolishness they are? Or maybe he will ignore your post like it never existed but continue to respond to others. Nah, no way he would punk out like that, right?

Of course he gets it. He's played Scrabble online ten times, and five of those times he won, which qualifies him as a Professor of English Summa Cum Laude with distinction in getting it. |

Can you read? I said "many of the great SB teams...." not "every...".....
The term exception to the rule isn't something you comprehend very well.
You are probably the first to throw Trent Dilfer out there when someone mentions that you need a very good QB for your team to win a SB.

You are probably the first to throw Trent Dilfer out there when someone mentions that you need a very good QB for your team to win a SB. Winning a SB without ever having a great single draft class isn't the exception because winning a SB because of one single great draft class isn't the rule. I would say it is you who doesn't comprehend the term very well. Your point was off the mark, to say the least, especially in the modern era of the NFL.
