J. Clayton (6/22/2008) I think Rex Grossman is worse than Vince Dung.
But hey, Young was in the probowl and on the cover of madden.
So, no matter if he throws 20 ints and bobbles snaps ... he is awesome and such a great leader.
Kill me now.Grossman was at least in a game VY could never dream of being. and he put in an MVP performance...for the Colts To be fair.. Manning sucked too. Bottom line... Vince Young is the worst passer in the league. I don't know. Have you seen Pennington lately?

| Pennington doesn't have the strongest arm but at least he's accurate.

Injuries destroyed Pennington's shoulder and all his throwing strength. Young Never had it to begin with.

I don't doubt V. Young's arm strength, it's just the way that he uses it. Those mechanics of his are insane.

| Vince Young is certainly overrated, but you cant deny that he wins football games regardless of the fashion and manner in which he does. But, again, I still believe he is overrated. He doesnt show enough poise, he's not good at reading coverages, and he's been supported by a solid head coach, defense and running game. I always believed going back on that draft day that the Titans made a huge mistake in passing up on Matt Leinart for Vince Young. Especially when you already had Leinart's former OC in Norm Chow. I know that Vince won alot of games and rose bowl championships but he did it souly on his legs. He's nothing more than a poor man's Michael Vick. And I hate to say it, but, I just dont think Vince will ever have the arm and the football intelligence like McNabb,McNair,Moon and Cunningham had. All four of those men were athletically gifted with speed, football awarness, and just the ability to make smart decisions with the football. I dont think Vince Young makes enough of those decisions right now. He might some day, but I doubt it because of the recent failures of Vick.

Replace "He" with 'The Titans" and I might be inclined to agree with you. All of that ESPN "He just wins games" crap, is just that.
No one ever said that Rex Grossman just finds ways to win, but the Bears went to the Superbowl. But he was on that field, and that was a sight farther than VY's team got last year.
That team won in spite of him last year.

Josh83 (6/22/2008) Vince Young, as a QB, might actually be the worst starter in the league. Obviously his legs make up for it as far as the Titans execs are concerned; but I honestly can't think of a worse starter than Young as a QB, maybe Tarvaris Jackson?I am not the biggest VY fan but I'd take him over Pennington/Clemens, Brodie Croyle or whomever Atlanta is starting. Rex Grossman, Kyle Boller/Troy Smith, John Beck/Chad Henne, Aaron Rodgers and JaMarcus Russell have all yet to show that they're better than VY imo. Agree on most but I'd take Rodgers in the Dallas game last year over VY any day.

| It will be a sad day when Fred Taylor retires. He truly is the only one in the league with that running style. The best cut back runner in the league. I hope everyone values watching him as i do, as he doesn't have many years left.

The thing that kills me about that game, is that I truly feel like USC lost that game, not so much because of what Texas did, but rather what USC didn't do. I don't think I've ever seen a coach mis-handle a game the way Carroll did that one. He had a clearly, more talented team, but it seemed like he had no idea what to do with it.
Don't get me wrong, V. Young made some amazing plays that night, but there is no way USC should have been making the mistakes that they did.
