| I was curious if anyone has used the stadium shuttle from the King St. Garage in San Marco.
Does the garage fill up fast?
What's the traffic like after the game?
I've used the Beaches (excellent) and Phillips/JTB (not so excellent) lots in the past, but would prefer something less out of the way from the Hidden Hills/Ft Caroline area. I'd rather not have to drive farther away from the stadium to catch the bus if I don't have to, and since I'm now a STH I'm probably going to buy the season pass for the stadium shuttle as well. I don't want stadium parking as I will have a newborn at home and want to be able to arrive just before kickoff and leave as soon as the clock hits 0:00. I'd rather not commit to King St. if it's going to be tougher to get in/out of.
Any feedback or pros/cons are appreciated.

| Before my family and I started tailgating over near the stadium, we rode the buses from the King Street garage to the stadium. We always bgot there with enough time to at least have 30 minutes to sit and watch the players warm up, so I can't be certain how fast the garage fills up. But I do know that on one Monday night game, I had to get back to my car and drive back to Tallahassee for classes the next morning. I got back to the garage and out of there in no time at all, making it back to Tallahassee right before 3 am.

| We used that parking garage/shuttle bus for every game last year. We like to get to the stadium fairly early, and had no problems with traffic afterwards, or the garage filling up. Our son tried to go to one of the games, sometime in the last 30 minutes before kickoff, and missed the last bus to the stadium. So I know it is possible to be left behind, if running VERY late. HTH. |

| Thanks for the help!
I should have clarified that "just before kickoff" to me is arriving between warm-ups and player introductions. I try to leave home and head to the bus at about 1.5-2h before kickoff. It sounds like I'd have no problem going to San Marco instead of the beach to catch the shuttle.
Thanks again!

| | The San Marco shuttle was very efficient every time Ive used it, but if you live in Arlington, why not use the Beach Blvd (in K Mart parking lot-near University Blvd) or better yet, the Town & Country shopping center(University & Arlington expressway) they are a lot closer to you. The only downside I could see is the San Marco shuttle is $5 and the others are $10. Its worth the extra dollars for less of a drive. Check it out! |

I used the T&C shuttle years ago and found it an easy and quick trip... I really wonder why it closed down especially after the Winn Dixie shut down and they had plenty of parking in that lot... I know most of us parked next to the office buildings etc... I could never get why they moved it to Beach Blvd and then it died... The Beach Blvd location was bad in that it was not convenient for anyone... At least at T&C, folks could take the Arlington Expressway and then ride the bus.... |
