| FBT (5/16/2008) I'm guessing that the whimp is curled up in the fetal position sucking his thumb over this one. At least he's still got Brian Smith to soil himself over. No, he's moved on to other important issues such as the Jaguars' uniform colors. It won't matter if Mike Walker makes the team and is lights out because the organization decided to stop fielding the black jerseys. We have no chance of going the distance without those black jerseys, FBT. All joking aside, it's great that Mike Walker is on the field for the OTAs. I hope his knee holds up well against swelling during the repetitions to come. I'm really excited to see how Garrard and the new receiving corps are going to do. I'm especially interested in how the QBs are looking. Thanks for the news, Rob.

| It is what it is, that's just what it is, so I guess, that's what it is, ...if that's it. .....What? | |

It doesn't surprise me one bit to see that the barstool diva was opining about the fashion queues of the black jersey vs. teal or white, or about the stripes on the pants. That's probably one of the more hotly debated topics on a daily basis between the whimp and the "gals" at the "sports" bar in Philly. It is indeed good news that Walker is back on the field. Granted, the practice sessions are pretty light, and they won't give much of an indication as to whare he's at with his rehab compared to training camp. But, it's encouraging that he's back out there. The guy has the potential to be a real long-term impact player for this team if he can stay healthy.

| In TMD's defense, he's backed off his rants lately. We should in turn back off him. If things change later, then by all means, go back to dropping the hammer.

| | How does this thread go from Walker, to uniforms...wow. Anyhow....This receving corps has a chance to be very, very good if Walker can live up to what he has shown in his brief time on the field, and his expectations.

Anyway, it isn't worth the time. Even without Walker, I think we have a receiving corps that is better than last year's and possibly better than any we've fielded over the Jack Del Rio era (minus Jimmy Smith). If Mike Walker turns out to be a guy that is even close to as good as Smith was then we'll be in business. I hope Williamson turns out good here in Jacksonville too. I hear he's actually catching deep balls in practice! Wow! I know it's just the OTAs, but it's something!

| | While this is good news, I'm tempering my enthusiasm due to the fact that he practiced often last t.c. on what was found to be a still badly injured knee. Sometimes the adrenaline gets the best of the rationale and you get what happened to Mike last year. Hopefully he's REALLY healed up and getting ready to put on a full show this Summer, and it's not just a 1st year guys attempt at letting the coaches know he's still here and isn't content to milk the injury-pine sorta speak.
My little girl has her teal & black on, how bout your kid?

My point of posting it was simply because he was held out on Tuesday (knee) but practiced on Thursday. Just an update, didn't want people to get TOO excited
Looking forward to a great season with all of you.
