29. San Francisco (from IND) - Quentin Groves OLB Auburn

I wonder if they might have interest in Balmer? He looks the right size for a 3-4 DE

I think this would be one of the worst picks in the history of the draft. They would be better served drafting Keller, Balmer or Justin King.

Why?  Because you think Brohm sucks or  because you don't think they need a QB?  They can get those other positions later in the draft.

They don't need to draft a QB in the first round.

I just don't understand the people on this MB. I always hear people complaining that the Jags never make any exciting moves to get big time players then when they do you complain about that.

They gave up 2 3rds and a 4th in a very weak draft to move up and take the only elite DE besides Chris Long and the move fills the only real hole on the team. Yet people still complain.

There is a reason guys like Merling and Campbell fell into round 2, and there is a reason Cinci was going to snatch up Harvey if we hadn't have made a move. The Jags made a very good deal to move up and get him.

The reason some people are not sure about the move is that Harvey is not as elite as some would tend to believe. Just because the F.O. thinks he is, doesn't mean it is fact. I believe Cincy would have taken LB Rivers over Harvey. Rivers was rated in the top ten and Harvey was around 13 or #14. A lot of people forget Cinci signed DE Antwan Odom (one of the guys the Jags considered) and some other DE in Free Agency. Harvey probably would have fell to #13 Carolina or further.

wrong- the bills had him at 11- that's confirmed by **** jauron to our reporters.

Don't forget the Bengals. They apparently wanted Sedrick Ellis, and Harvey would have been second-in-line. But the Jags took him, so they took third-in-line Keith Rivers.

Had I started in 2003, This team would have seen a SB by now.

Starting from right now, with the team in it's current state, I could have this team in a SB within 2 years/ seasons.

I got blasted for the Bills taking Harvey in our mock. But hey, what do I know, I'm from Canada eh.
