I call it a draw.  Neither one of them backed down.  I will say that Kiper's deep stare into the camera is scary!

Sticking with the Jags through good times and bad.  GO JAGS!

If it was a battle of hair then Kiper would win everytime.  I am in awe of how it remains perfectly in place at all times.

I hate that dork almost as much as he hates the Jags.

I love that McShay called him to task for the 2nd rounder for Taylor "speculation".

I don't get the hate for Kiper.  The guy has an opinion and defends it. So the option is agree w\me or I'll hate you?  He had Harvey down on his draft board. Obviously many teams didn't agree w\him.  Considering where players are going these draft "gurus" from all walks of life pretty much missed on this entire draft.

BLUE31: When i watch mjd it's like he shy's away from contact.

Blazing Arrow: You can sugar it up and try to rub Young's name in the mud all you want but if he gets more chances and more looks at your D he would have found a way to score...
....Still Waiting.....

Blazing Arrow (7/3/2007): MJD cn not handle the pressure of #1. THe end of the season last year (2006) proved that.

Yeah, Kiper wasn't thrilled with us moving up to get Harvey.  So, Harvey will just have to prove him wrong.

I was impressed with McShay as he's prepared and delivers smooth commentary.  Kiper sometimes just barks at the camera.

I prefer the coverage on NFL Network.  The guys on ESPN seem like they've had too much coffee.  Chris Berman is not a good host in my opinion.   I like Rish Eisen a lot better.   It's a little more laid back and better organized on NFL Network.  Also, I liked Charlie Casserly and Mike Lombardi.   They actually know what they're talking about.  Mel Kiper is all about defending the Mel Kiper Empire.  Let's all kiss Mel Kiper's butt.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Göring

IMO McShay gave old MK a good old fashioned beyotch slap right there on E S P N. I have NFL network and didn't even turn it on. Maybe next year I will have to tune in there.

McShay is on his way up and Kiper hit his peak a few years ago.  Look for Kiper to be old news in a few years.  The King is dead.

For some reason, every time I see Kiper lately it makes me think he is like a character that has been made up for a Saturday Night Live skit.  He just looks comical to me.
