Alfie (4/27/2008) How many TD's did Reggie Williams catch last year... ? I forgot.
not enough. J Smooth wasnt a big TD guy, but he did everything else. after "arriving" in 1996 Smith had at least 70 catches every season except 2003 when he played only 12 games.
How much is enough? You know, I'm getting rather sick of all the Reggie bashing going on as of late. The man had 10 TDs last year. That's absolutely fantastic, and yes it is "enough." The Jaguars clearly have confidence in Reggie to have let Wilford go without addressing WR in day one. He's going to start yet again as the #2 WR, and this year I'm expecting a big season out of him.
Williamson needs to prove his hands are reliable (I think his drops had more to do with who was throwing him the ball)
My intent is not to bash Williams, I like him and I hope he continues to improve this season. I just dont see him becoming a legit number 1 in the future.
Williamsons drops had more to do with who was throwing him the ball? thats hilarious. Tarvaris Jackson threw some poor passes but Williamson got his hands on too many of them, if a receiver can get his hands on the ball, then he should make the catch. |

| Williams isn't going to be the number 1 receiver. Porter will fill that role.
Future Jaguars: Boo Robinson, Bear Pascoe | |

prime winner (4/27/2008) Broussard and Sharon are in the same boat, the S.S. Scrub. Excuse me for looking for an upgrade in the future of the Jags WR core.
Eaarly Doucet and Andre Caldwell are still available after day one. Both were rated as decent prospects. also available are: Danny Amendola, Texas Tech 109 catches, 1245 yards, 6 TD Mario Manningham Michigan 72 catches,1174 yards, 12 TD
charles sharon is too small to get off the press, john broussard is still the fastest palyer on the team, can return kicks, and adjust to the football. you jsut proved how willy your post is sir. i am done hear. not to mention the fact you still have jerry porter reggie williams mike walker dennis northcut and matt jones ahead of broussard. but go ahead and pass ona premier pass rusher so you can picka reciever to cut. silly. you don't watch football. Sharon and Broussard both suck. 4 catches between them last season, thats on a team with a poor WR core. I like Porter, I know he will do good things here, and Williams isnt bad as a 2 or 3. Jones would rather get high and make circus catches and Northcutt is a 3 at best. None of these are the long term answer. you forgot mike walker and troy williamson. like i said, you don't watch football. and as much of a gator homer as i am, i am not saying that we should have sat in the third waiting for andre caldwell. there is not a reciever in this draft that demanded selection.
I never said the Jags should have drafted a WR over Harvey or Groves, I said round 3, you know where every ones hero Mike Walker was selected. Walker cant even get on the practice field. he had a knee that we knew about and he will be in training camp. you don't watch football, but its okay. we have the recievers and an emerging te to be explosive on offense. sharon wasn't active and broussard got hurt after burning the crap out of people. his upside is huge for the 7th round. you don't watch football. that's okay. just don't come here and rant.
| We will all have to make the choice between what is right, and what is easy. Give freely unto others, be brave in the face of your enemies, love those who hate you for those who hate you will only win if you hate them back, be generous with praise-it costs nothing, love all men, and fear not for he will come. There will come a day when the courage of good men will fade away and the tyranny of the weak will destroy mankind..., but today does not have to be that day! remembe this day men, for it is the curse of man that they forget... | |

I watch plenty of football, enough to know that Broussard and Sharon are garbage. Mike Walker would not have been drafted in the 3rd round if the Jags had known he would not have been ready to play last season.
Broussard, Sharon and Walker are the answer for the future? You're a fool to think so. that's okay |
