Yeah but for a 1st and our 1st third they could come within 15 points of getting ATL's 2 later 2nd round picks.

I'd rather have 3 2nd rounders rather than 4 3rds

heres the scenario that I posted in another thread:

"I would love to have them trade down as some of you say for two of the falcons 2nd round picks, But our 1st wouldn't be enough to do it. Our 1st #26 is worth 700 pts on the trade chart. The falcons 2nds are: 34- 560pts, 37- 530pts, and 48- 420pts.

So the only way to come close to getting Two 2nds and keep our current 2nd rounder would be to trade #26- 700 pts and #71(3rd from buffalo) 235pts = 935pts for atlantas 2nds #37 530pts and #48 420pts = 950 pts

that would get us within 15 points of the trade"

Let me get this straight. We trade our first round draft pick and a fifth for ATL's 2nd and third. Then we trade that 2nd round pick and a combination of other picks for Jason Taylor?

Now, how is that any different then just trading our first rounder for Jason Taylor? Seems like a long round about way of doing it.

Nice grammar:

"Let's say that the Jaguars get the Falcon's second round pick"

Not only is it poor grammar, but the Falcons have THREE second-round picks (#34, #37 & #48) - that makes a big difference in what the Jaguars would get back in the deal. Clearly he spent a long time on that piece (about as much time as I took to write this post).
