Arrived at the stadium at 12:45 PM, walking in I met several disgruntled fans leaving, saying that there was a two hour wait. When I got inside the line attendant said the wait was two hours or more. Suggested that I come back at four when the crowd thinned. We came back at four and the according to the same attendant the wait was now 1 1/2 hours. We stood for 30 minutes and the line only moved about 15 feet. It appeared that the wait would be at least another two hours, there was a good 100 people ahead of us. Appears that the Jaguars were overwhelmed; however, that is difficult to understand seeing they asked who wanted to come in, we all replied and they sent us letters telling us when to show up. Therefore, they should have known in advance how many to expect and should have scheduled enough employees to handle the anticipated crowd. We left after waiting the 30 minutes, as we were exiting the gate the security guard told us we could come back Mon-Wed from 4-7PM. We found this surprising because none of the higher paid incompetent people inside ever mentioned this option. Events like this make me want to give up my tickets rather than relocate and give the Jaguars more money. They might have signed a long term quarterback but they are still running a second rate operation. Why not automate this whole process and allow seasons ticket holders to select knew seats on line?

We had the same appointment time (1:30 PM on Sunday), and arrived at about 11:20 AM.  We still had a pretty long wait (a little over two hours) that ended successfully, with us adding two more season tickets. We have waited longer, outdoors in summer, at a certain theme park in Orlando, with whining children. This wait was not THAT bad, LOL.

As a general rule, if a person can learn to be more flexible and less rigid and critical, you will be happier in life. Go, Jaguars!

Ralphie,

Stop your bellyachin'. Most of the people working these events are Champions Club volunteers. The "employees" are the ones at the computer screens trying to help folks find the seats they want. I'm not a CC member so I have no reason to defend them other than appreciation for the job they do on their own time. You think it was a long day for you? Think about having to spend your shift listening to people like you complain. I've been to these events in the past and there is always a wait. Take that time to talk to other Jag fans and enjoy the comraderie. It's what you make of it. I'm sure the people around you were really excited to hear you b!tch and moan the whole time.

So is this the time of the year when all of the "I'm not going to renew my tickets if.." crap starts?

My guess is that a lot of people never bothered to RSVP and just came down.... It's like having a wedding and not getting RSVP's... Having just thrown one of those, getting replies is critical in planning Glad I don't need to relocate..... You think it's a bad thing???? This means there are enough fans interested enough to come down and get better or more seats!!!!

I normally do not complain and come to defense of the Jags, but I do have some gripe with yesterdays event. Last year I went to the event, my time was early in the morning. I believe 8 am and I got there at like 7:45 and was the first 5 to be assisted. Yesterday, my time was 1-4:30 pm. I got there at 12:30, expecting to be first and there was a 2 hour wait.

If that wasn't enough... they gave me a #. So, I assumed it was for when I would be helped and no one said a word as I stepped out of line. I had my infant son with me, so I left and came back. When I got back, they told me I had to go to the back of the line. So, what was the # for exactly????

I'll live, but it was a negative experience for sure.

Ralph,

Had you read my post from Saturday you would have been prepared for the wait yesterday. It was a long wait but I and the other fans around me had a good time. You could feel the excitement in the air, all of us season ticket holders back again! Go JAGS!

Well, what a great feeling to be back at the stadium again. Hanging out with other Jag fans. We got on line in the Bud Zone at 11:57 AM.  We finally got to the front of the line to look for new seats at 2:35 PM. Even though it was a long line the Bud Zone had A/C and fans running, the concession stand was open for food and drinks this year (last year it was not) and all the TVs were on (Fox, ESPN and the Gator Spring Game). this is my 3rd time doing this so I expected the wait. It was fun hanging out and telling stories to other season ticket holders. As with the past two time the wife and I have moved down closer to the field and for the first time my Sons have moved down from the 409 section to field level seat in the 100s. Just by luck the Jaguar person we had been conversing with this year Russell was the person who took care of us. He and the other volunteers and workers did an outstanding job this year!

The organization made up for my experience on Sunday. I had no doubt that they would, they are the best business I've ever dealt with and that is very impressive. I didn't even tell them what happened, they just took care of me. Awesome!
